COMPAQ SERVING UP NEW PROLIANT

Compaq Computer Corp. of Houston, Texas is bumping up its servers. The computer maker has introduced its new ProLiant 400 server to the North American market. Called the ProLiant 400, the machine features either a Pentium II 350, 400 or 450 MHz processor, local area network remote management and small computer systems interface. Compaq is billing the computer as its most affordable corporate server. In Canada, advertising for Compaq is handled by Palmer Jarvis DDB of Vancouver.
