SONY TOUTS TWO ELECTRONIC PRODUCTS

Toronto-based Sony of Canada Ltd. recently launched newspaper campaigns for its DVPC 600CD/DVD player and Mavica digital camera. The DVPC's five disc carousel plays both CDs and DVD movies. Programming options allow the user to alternate between movies and music, or run five consecutive movies or CDs. The Mavica camera stores photos on a 3.5-inch floppy disk. Photos can be previewed on a computer, e-mailed or copied onto another disk for sharing. The photos can also be printed. The Mavica also features a movie mode and voice memo mode to add narration to pictures. The newspaper ads were created by Ranscombe & Co. of Toronto.
