UNIBROUE OFFERS LIMITED EDITION BREW
By Adnews Staff
Unibroue of Chambley, Que. is giving Quebecers a taste of history during the holiday season. The brewer launched a limited edition beer in the province this week called Don De Dieu. The brew is named after the historical vessel captained by Samuel de Champlain. On one of his voyages he discovered the city of Quebec on July 3, 1608. Don De Dieu is a triple-style bottle-fermented beer that has an alcohol content of 9%. The beer will be promoted using newspaper ads created in-house. There are 500,000 cases of Don De Dieu to be sold. Once Unibroue runs out, no more will be made. Unibroue produces nine bottle-conditioned beers which are distributed in Quebec and eight other provinces, as well as in the U.S., Europe and Asia.
