BBDO SNAGS INTERNATIONAL TOURISM BUSINESS

Toronto-based BBDO Canada has been chosen to handle international advertising for the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Tourism. The agency won the account after a competition with five other Toronto agencies. They were: Axmith McIntyre Wicht, Bensimon Byrne DMB&B, Bozell Worldwide, MacLaren McCann and incumbent Publicis SMW. The estimated annual budget for the account is $2 million. BBDO will be responsible for promoting Ontario to international markets.
