LABATT CAMPAIGNS FOR NEW BREW IN PQ

LaSalle, Quebec-based la Brasserie Labatt kicked-off a holiday-season campaign last week for a new beer available only in the Quebec market called 50 Cream Ale. The new brew is a pale ale containing 5.5% alcohol, distinguished by amber highlights, a thick head and a lightly caramelized taste. It is available in six-packs from grocery and convenience stores or in bottles and on tap in some restaurants and bars. The brewery's campaign in support of 50 Cream Ale consists of 30-second television spots and point-of-sale materials in both French and English created by Montreal-based Palm Publicité Marketing Inc.
