MICROSOFT UNVEILS NEW COMPUTER GAMES

U.S.-based Microsoft Corp. is gearing up for the Christmas season with the release of six new computer games in North America. They are: Combat Flight Simulator, Age of Empires Expansion: The Rise of Rome, Revenge of the Arcade, Golf 1999, Pinball Arcade and Motocross Madness. Combat Flight Simulator is a World War II combat PC game. Theg ame allows would-be pilots the chance to guide plans through two historic missions: the Battle of Britain and the Battle Over Europe. Age of Empires Expansion is an epic real-time strategy game spanning 10,000 years. It focuses on the ancient Roman Empire and adds new features such as four more civilations, several additional campaigns, new units and larger maps than its predecessor Age of Empires. Revenge of Arcade combines vie classic arcade games: Ms. Pac-Man, Xevious, Rally-X, Mappy and Motos. Golf 1999 features six golf courses in North America and one fantasy course. It has 117 holes of golf, customizable options and varying skill levels. Pinball Arcade combines seven licenses pinball table games including Baffle Ball, Humpty Dumpty, Haunted House, Knock Out, Slick Chick, Spirit of '76 and Cue Ball Wizard. Motocross Madness is a stunt driving racing game that features more than 30 indoor and outdoor stadiums and courses. All the games will be on store shelves over the next few weeks. In Canada, they will be promoted using online ads, point-of-purchase materials and street level posters. The campaign will be created by Communique of Toronto.
