ATI CHIEF NAMED ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR

ATI Tehnologies president and CEO K.Y. Ho has been named Canada's Entrepreneur of the Year. He received the award to recognize his achievement of building ATI from a small start-up company into a large computer graphics company and into Canada's thrid largest high-tech firm. The award also recognizes Ho's vision to provide computer users with the best technology to enhance the visual experience on the computer. ATI of Thornhill, Ont. is a supplier of 3D graphics and multimedia technology. It was founded in 1985 and has offices in the U.S., Germany, France, the U.K., Ireland, Barbados, Malaysia and Hong Kong. The Entrepreneur of the Year program is sponsored by Ernst & Young, the Bank of Montreal, Nesbitt Burns, McCarthy Tetrault and Air Canada.
