ATLAS ACCOUNT MAY BE UP FOR GRABS

The fate of the Atlas Wine Merchants account is up in the air now that Bozell Worldwide of Toronto has resigned from the business. The agency had been with Atlas for 10 years. Bozell president and CEO Elizabeth Torlee told Adnews yesterday that the agency resigned the business for two reasons: Atlas has a cider business which posed a conflict with another client, so it would have had to look for an agency for the cider account anyway. Torlee also said there were "philosophical differences" in the relationship. Atlas of Mississauga, Ont. markets such wines as Jackson Triggs and Sawmill Creek.
