DEADLINE APPROACHING FOR INTERNET AWARDS

The deadline for entry into Mecklermedia Corp.'s Impact Awards is Dec. 4. The awards recognize creators of consumer and business Web sites. The winners will be announced at Internet World Canada '99 on Feb. 3. Categories for the awards include changing the way people work, learn, buy, play, live and communicate, as well as Site of the Year. Mecklermedia of Westport, Connecticut operates Internet World and ISPCON trade shows. Its Canadian Internet show will be in Toronto in February.
