EATON'S SHOWS OFF SHOES AND CLOTHES
By Adnews Staff
The T. Eaton Company of Toronto is focusing on its selection of women's shoes and fashions in its latest TV campaign that began earlier this month. The campaign uses two 30-second spots that feature mannequins as the actors. In the spot supporting shoes, mannequins put on a fashion show of shoes and uses visuals such as clouds, women, urban buildings and street signs. As images of a variety of women flash on the screen, they are spinning shoes and rotating street signs that reveal the words, healer, lover, teacher sister and daughter. The ad sends the message that women have a lot of shoes to fill. In the commercial promoting clothes, mannequins roll in and out of the closet sporting different outfits from the racks of Eaton's. The commercials were created by TOPIX/Mad Dog and Roche Macaulay & Partners, both of Toronto.
