The Toronto chapter of the American Marketing Association will host a roundtable discussion on Oct. 30 entitled Newspaper Wars - Who Wins? Topics covered at the event will include, will there be a shakeout in the industry after this week's launch of the National Post and what role will marketing play in the battle for readers. The speakers at the event will be National Post sales, marketing and advertising vice-president Ron Clarke, The Globe and Mail marketing vice-president Darcia Joseph, The Toronto Star marketing vice-president Jeffrey Shearer and The Toronto Sun marketing director Jay Donnelly.
