BELL MOBILITY EXPANDS PREPAID SERVICE
By Adnews Staff
Bell Mobility of Mississauga, Ont. has revamped its prepaid calling service to include Digital PCS and has eliminated the daily access fee for the service. Until now, the prepaid service was available only on the cellular network and it had a daily access fee of 35 cents. Using the prepaid service, customers purchase a phone and a calling card which is available in $25 and $50 denominations. Each time a customer makes or receives a call, the cost of the minutes used is automatically deducted from the prepaid account. The card expires 90 days after it has been loaded into the customer's account. To promote the revamped service, Bell will incorporate it in its Christmas advertising plans for all of its services beginning in November. The campaign will use print, radio and TV ads created by Cossette Communication-Marketing of Toronto.
