HOLIDAIR ANNOUNCES RAIN INSURANCE
By Adnews Staff
Holidair Insurance Services of Toronto is protecting Canadian travelers from rain in Florida. The company will launch a new insurance plan next month, called Sunshine Insurance, which will reimburse travelers if they experience a certain amount of rainfall while vacationing in the state. To qualify for the reimbursement, it must rain more than one-tenth of an inch per day, during the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., for half of their vacation, plus one day. Hourly government recording stations will measure rainfall in Brookville, Daytona, Fort Myers, Gainsville, Jacksonville, Key West, Miami, Orlando, Panama City, Tallahassee, Tampa, Venice, Vero Beach and West Palm. Holidair is still working out advertising plans for Sunshine Insurance. It will be created in-house in conjunction with the Travel Communications Group of Toronto. Holidair offers a range of insurance products available through the travel industry.
