NEURO-BIOTECH TO HIRES ONE AGENCY, PLANS TO SEEK ANOTHER

Neuro-Biotech Inc. of Quebec City has hired Dentsu-Cadence's Montreal office to handle its advertising in Asian countries and will begin looking for an agency to handle its Canadian advertising in the next couple of months. Dentsu-Cadence won the business without a review because the agency's worldwide headquarters are in Japan so it knows a lot about the Asian market, marketing vice-president Michel Galataud told Adnews yesterday. When Neuro-Biotech begins looking for a Canadian agency, it will review about four or five agencies. Neuro-Biotech is a neuro-scientific research company that will launch its first product in mid-1999. The product is a noninvasive diagnostic kit to facilitate early and easy diagnosis of stress-related diseases from a blood sample.
