DEADLINE APPROACHING FOR DESIGN AWARDS

The deadline for the Design Effectiveness Awards is Dec. 14. The awards are organized by The Design Exchange of Toronto and sponsored by The Financial Post Magazine. They judge designers' work on the basis of its commercial effectiveness. The design must have begun distribution between Dec. 7, 1995 and Dec. 7, 1998. Winners will be featured in a special supplement of The Financial Post Magazine, in a mailing to The Financial Post Top 500 CEOs, in a PR campaign targeted to business, trade and design publications, an exhibition at the Design Exchange and in the Design Exchange archives. The awards will be presented at a gala dinner on March 9.
