U.S.-based International Business Machines Corp. will add another computer to its Aptiva S family of machines in late September. Called Aptiva SE7, the consumer PC is available in North America and features an Intel Pentium II 450MHz processor and a black design. The high-end computer also has a 16.8 gigabyte hard drive and a DVD-ROM drive for better performance in graphics on games and movies. The Aptiva SE7 comes with either a 17-inch or a 19-inch monitor, or IBM's new 15-inch flat panel monitor that offers a resolution of 1024 X 768. In Canada, IBM is still reviewing ad plans for the Aptiva SE7. Advertising for IBM in Canada is done by Ogilvy & Mather of Toronto. PR is handled by Goodman Communications of Toronto.
