WORD ON THE STREET MOVES INTO NEW CITIES

The Word On The Street festival has expanded. The event will now take place in Calgary and Ottawa on Sept. 27, along with Vancouver, Toronto and Halifax. The festival is an open-air book and magazine exposition. Word On The Street will be promoted using newspaper, radio and TV ads in each city. The campaign will be created by Hambley & Woolley of Toronto. In Toronto alone, over 125,000 book enthusiasts are expected to attend. Sponsors of the event include Chapters, GAP, Investors Group, Viacom, Post Foods, Sympatico, Business Depot and Canada NewsWire.
