BRK HELPS CANADIANS CLIMB TO SAFETY

BRK Brands Canada of Toronto introduced its First Alert Fire Escape Ladder to the Canadian market last week. The ladder is designed for escape from the second floor of a burning or smoke-filled building. In 1992 almost 350 people died in residential fires in Canada and almost 4000 were injured, says a BRK release. When not being used, the ladder can fit under almost any bed, in the closet or behind a curtain, and can be used by both adults and children. Point-of-purchase advertising from The Nucomm Group of Toronto appeared in stores with the ladder last week. Goodman Communications of Toronto produced an in-store video to promote the ladder.
