TELUS INTRODUCES UNLIMITED YAK TIME

Telus Corp. of Edmonton launched a flat-rate long distance calling plan last week. Called Your Way Unlimited, customers can call anywhere in Canada during evenings and weekends for $19.95 per month. There is no limit on the length or number of calls. In addition, the plan offers daytime weekday calls to anywhere in Canada for 22 cents per minute and calls to the U.S. for 22 cents per minute, everyday, any-time-of-day. Your Way Unlimited is being promoted using ads in daily and weekly newspapers, as well as TV, outdoor and transit ads created by Ogilvy & Mather's Calgary office. Telus also offers a Your Way Straight Savings plan, which lets customers call anywhere in Alberta for 10 cents a minute during evenings and weekends. Evening and weekend calls to anywhere in Canada cost 12 cents per minute.
