BETA TOUTS LIFE SAVERS BRAND

Beta Brands Ltd. of London, Ont. is promoting its Life Savers brand of candy in its latest campaign that began this week. The campaign uses TV, radio and point-of-purchase materials to promote Beta's Win 'n Spin contest. The ads were created by Padulo Integrated of Toronto. Under the Win 'n Spin contest, customers have a chance to win a Lifesavers' branded jukebox and one of five candy roll-shaped stereos. The first 1,000 consumers to send in ballots for the contest will receive a "Boy Power" CD. The CD was created in conjunction with BMG Direct of Mississauga, Ont. It includes music from such groups as Hanson, Boys II Men, Five, Imajin.

The first phase of this campaign began in May. Beta Brands launched a promotion for Lifesavers where consumers could win a chance to see a private concert with N Sync, or one of three candy roll-shaped stereos. The promotion was supported using point-of-purchase materials created by Big Bang Marketing of Toronto.
