By Adnews Staff
Compaq Computer Corp. of Houston brought a new line of personal computers to Canada this week that are geared to office users who have little space. Called the Compaq Deskpro EN Series Small Form Factor, the machines are 40% smaller than regular personal computers. They feature a 12.5-inch by 14.6-inch chassis, Intel Pentium II processors running at 300 MHz to 400 MHz, 32 MB or 64 MB of SDRAM and 3.2 or 6.4 gigabyte hard drives. The line will be promoted using print ads in daily business publications. The campaign will be created by Palmer Jarvis/DDB of Toronto. Cohn & Wolfe of Toronto handles PR. Compaq introduced the Small Form Factor line of computers to the U.S. market in April.
