LABATT TEAMS UP WITH ONTARIO LOTTERY

Toronto-based Labatt Breweries of Canada is promoting its Blue and Blue Light brands of beer in its latest contest that began in Ontario last week. Called the Out of the Blue Lucky Loonie program, customers who buy a case of Labatt Double Blue, which contains 12 Blue and 12 Blue Light, will receive an instant scratch-and-win lottery ticket. Customers have a chance to win up to $5,000. One in five tickets are winners. The promotion will be supported using radio and newspaper ads created by Ammirati & Puris/Lintas of Toronto. The promotion will run until September.
