TROPICANA SEARCHES FOR ARTISTS

Tropicana Canada of Montreal will search for colorful fridge art when it launches its contest on July 1. Under the deal, parents send in their child's (aged 10 and under) most tastefully blended drawing or painting that features the bright color of the Tropics juice flavors such as banana yellow, strawberry red, juicy orange, kiwi green, passion fruit purple, mouthwatering mango and peachy peach. Entry deadline for the contest will be Aug. 24. The draw will be held on Aug. 29. Three grand prize winners will receive a Packard Bell computer system, a Tropics Prize Pack and various software titles from Disney Interactive including Disney's Print Studio - The Little Mermaid, Print Studio - Pooh and Print Studio - 101 Dalmations. Twenty provincial Tropics Prize Packs will also be awarded. These prizes include Disney software, a Tropics T-shirt, Tropicana juice coupons, Tropics recipes and an arts and crafts activity box. The contest will be promoted using print ads created by Harrod & Mirlin/FCB of Toronto. PR is done by Strategic Objectives of Toronto. In addition, Tropicana will support its Tropics line of juice using sampling at events and in grocery stores across Canada throughout the summer.
