AD CAMPAIGN PRODUCES RESULTS
By Adnews Staff
Atlantic Canada is becoming more popular with U.S. tourists since the region launched an ad campaign in March to promote the area. Since the campaign launched, the Atlantic Canada Tourism Partnership has reported over 60,000 inquiries from potential travelers to the Atlantic coast, an increase of about 25,000 inquiries over each of the past two years. The campaign uses direct mail, newspaper and magazine ads in New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington, Baltimore, Detroit, Chicago and Atlanta. The campaign was created by Pulse Marketing of Halifax. The ACTP is a coalition the four Atlantic Provincial departments responsible for tourism, the four Atlantic Provincial tourism associations and the Canadian Tourism Commission.
