MBS OFFERS OPTIMIZER SOFTWARE

The Media Company and Media Buying Services, both of Toronto, will introduce a new computer system this week that the companies say will help clients determine their best media buy and the cheapest price. Called MaXis, the program will generate media buy plans based on the advertiser's product and the audience sought. For example, there is about 10,000 hours of TV programs in Canada each week. The average viewer watches 25 hours. MaXis will find those 25 hours for its clients. The first client that wants to use MaXis is Canada Trust. The program will be available to all clients by January.
