H-P OFFERS NEW PRINTERS

U.S.-based Hewlett-Packard Co. added a printer family to its line up earlier this month. Called the LaserJet 8000 family, the line comes in three models: the base model, network model and duplexing printer. The products are powered by a 133 MHz processor and 16MB of base memory. The LaserJet 8000 printers can print 24-pages-per-minute and are available worldwide. In Canada, the LaserJet 8000 printers will be promoted in print ads beginning in June. The ads will also support the LaserJet 4000 that was launched last November and the LaserJet 5000 that was introduced in March. The ads will be created by Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising of Toronto.
