TSN COURTS TENNIS FANS WITH EXTENSIVE COVERAGE

Toronto-based TSN has announced it will dedicate over 200 hours of air time to live coverage of tennis over the next five months. Coverage will be mostly dedicated to the four grand slam tournaments, Wimbleton, U.S. Open, French Open and the already aired Australian Open, but it will also cover the du Maurier Open men's and women's championships. Canadian tennis sweet-heart, Helen Kelesi will debut as a color commentator at the women's championships in Montreal. Kelesi took home five national championships between the years of 1987 to 1991. The next tennis coverage will be the opening-round of the French Open May 25. Stacey Allaster, director of corporate sales and marketing for Tennis Canada says this will certainly support Tennis Canada's efforts to develop and promote the game.
