FLEISHMAN-HILLARD TAKES ON YEAR 2000 BUG

St. Louis-based Fleishman-Hillard has formed a new practice group to help its clients keep their reputations intact in the rising wash of hysteria surrounding the Year 2000 computer problem. "Year 2000 reputation management is a challenge that reaches throughout an organization's corporate communications establishment," said the PR firm's chairman and CEO John Graham. "More and more companies are becoming aware of the full implications of Year 2000 for their standing in the marketplace. We'll be offering clients tangible means of getting their messages across to the right audiences." The new group will offer counsel in areas such as investor relations, crisis management, employee communications, government relations and customer communications.
