LCBO AND OCCID PROMOTE SOBER DRIVING

The Ontario Community Council on Impaired Driving has teamed up with the Liquor Control Board of Ontario to promote sober driving. The month-long promotion will last throughout the month of May and will be supported with posters and bottle bags in liquor stores, as well as radio public service announcements. In addition, donation boxes will be set up at LCBO outlets. The posters and bottle bags were created by freelancer Ingrid Gertz, while the radio PSAs were created in-house by the OCCID. Lonesome Pine Studios of Toronto donated recording time for the radio spots. This is the sixth year in a row that the OCCID and the LCBO have joined forces in a driving sober public awareness campaign. Since 1995, the LCBO has raised more than $20,000 for the OCCID.
