DIGIT INTERACTIVE LANDS NEW ACCOUNTS, NEW HIRES
By Adnews Staff
Digit Interactive, based in Toronto and Ottawa, has had a busy new year so far, landing accounts from clients including The Financial Post, IBM Canada, CMHC, MD Management, Canadian Heritage, National Archives, Canadian Tourism Commission and others in the past few months. Digit specializes in building "digital brands." "The traditional brands must understand and implement strong digital marketing strategies today, or risk their brand equity to those who can harness the power of new media," says Mark Jodoin, Digit's managing partner and vice-president of business development. To handle the new business, Digit has hired some new hands. Kimberly deVerteuil has signed on as senior creative director. She was previously with Toronto-based web-shop Caught in the Web. Sudhir Babu becomes Digit's technical director of web development in Ottawa. He is lately a management/systems analyst at Telesat Canada. Jeff Hribar moves from his old job as account manager at ACME Advertising in Ottawa to a new job as account manager at Digit. Finally, graphic designer Elizabeth Yanitsky has come aboard from Communicad Group.
