AGF USES EDUCATION PROGRAM TO PROMOTE FINANCIAL PLANNING

AGF Group of Funds has created a third TV program to promote its investment services. Called Money Blues, the program covers such topics as establishing your financial goals, managing debt, paying off student loans and credit cards, banking, investing, tax issues, buying your first home, mortgage options, home, life and auto insurance, retirement savings and estate planning. AGF began running TV programs in partnership with TVOntario in 1996. The first was called 'What the Rich Do' and the other was called 'Your Family's Money.' The series interweaves the stories of a cross-section of young Canadians with diverse financial situations with advice from financial planners, accountants and other related industry experts. The program was produced by Re:Source Media of Toronto. It will air on TVOntario, Access Alberta, Knowledge Network and Saskatchewan Communications Network. Various local stations will also carry Money Blues. AGF of Toronto is an investment company.
