OFSA PROMOTES VALUE OF FUNERALS
By Adnews Staff
The Ontario Funeral Service Association wants to tell people how important funerals are. The organization will launch a PSA campaign later this month to tell people about the importance of having a meaningful funeral and to stress how funerals help in the grieving process. It will also highlight personalized funerals and planning for them in advance. The campaign will use radio, newspaper and magazine ads created by The Brainstorm Group and Jane MacGillivray Productions, both of Toronto. The Ontario Funeral Service Association was established in 1883 as a voluntary organization of funeral directors. It promotes high standards of funeral service and protects the public through its Code of Ethics. OFSA offers public information programs, educational seminars and maintains a film/book library on funerals and related topics.
