DEADLINE APPROACHING FOR IMPACT AWARDS

The deadline for entry into the Radio Impact Awards is March 13. The awards are sponsored by the Radio Marketing Bureau and judged by consumers. To be eligible to enter, commercials must have aired on a Canadian radio station during 1997. Commercial lengths must not exceed two minutes. The first round of the English judging sessions will be conducted in four different sized markets, whereas the second round will take place in one market. The French sessions will be held in one Quebec market and are scored by francophone consumers. Each session will be comprised of about 40 consumers with differing ages, gender and income.
