DOUBLECLICK GOES DOWN UNDER

New York-based DoubleClick Inc. has opened an office in Australia. The company will sell advertising on Australian-based Web sites designed to help Australian advertisers build one-to-one relationships with their customers on the Web. There are 11 Australian sites being represented by DoubleClick. DoubleClick uses advanced technologies so companies can best target their market. Its DART technology tests banner creative within 48 hours of being placed. ClickBoosters is for automated placement of banners on those Web sites pages most likely to generate the highest response rates. DoubleClick has also recently launched international networks in the U.K., Spain, Sweden, Canada and Japan.
