U.S.-based Hewlett-Packard will add a new computer to its Vectra line of machines in March that will feature Intel Corp.'s 333MHz Pentium processor. Called the Vectra VL PC, the computer also features 64MB of SDRAM, which increases data-transfer speed over conventional EDO memory, a 24X maximum-speed CD-ROM drive and a 6.4 gigabyte hard drive. The computer will be available worldwide. In Canada, the new machine will be promoted in ongoing ads for the entire Vectra line of computers. Canadian advertising for H-P is done by Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising of Toronto.
