Neil Hamilton has joined SSA Inc. as general manager, responsible for sales, marketing, professional support, distribution, finance and administration. Most recently he was chairman, president and CEO of Cantoc Business Systems. Hamilton has also worked at IBM Canada. SSA provides enterprise resource planning software to more than 8,500 clients. Ian Todd is now at U.S.-based Nike Inc. as global sports marketing vice-president. Previously he was managing director and senior executive vice-president at International Management Group, responsible for the agency's operations in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Jeff Burdon has been appointed Canadian senior marketing executive at BankAmerica Business Credit of Chicago. He will be responsible for developing asset-based lending clients throughout the country, with an emphasis on Ontario and Manitoba. Formerly Burdon was corporate banking manager at the National Bank of Canada. He has also worked at Toronto Dominion Bank as commercial account manager. Catherine Heddle and Neil Parmenter have joined Environics Communications of Toronto as consultants. Most recently Heddle was an associate consultant at NATIONAL Public Relations. At Environics, Heddle will work with the computer technology and telecommunications clients such as 3Com Canada, Toshiba of Canada, Information Systems Group and StorageTek Canada. Parmenter was previously at Ernst & Young of Toronto as media relations coordinator. Taisa Dorney has been promoted from senior studio designer to art director at Wunderman, Cato, Johnson of Toronto.
