SOY BEVERAGE TO GO NATIONAL

SoyaWorld Inc. of Vancouver brought its dairy-free beverage to the Ontario market this week. Called So Good, the beverage is made from the natural protein part of the soy bean, is low in saturated fat and has no cholesterol. It has similar levels of calcium and other minerals and vitamins found in milk. So Good is available at major grocery outlets. The beverage is being promoted using national TV advertising created by Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising of Toronto. The ad features an embarrassed cow talking about the benefits of So Good. Outdoor advertising and some print may be also be used within the next year. The tagline for the campaigns will be "It's not milk. It's So Good." So Good has been tested in Western Canada for the past few months. It will be introduced to the Quebec market within the next four weeks and in the Maritimes in the spring. SoyaWorld is a jointly owned venture of Dairyworld Foods of Vancouver and tofu company Sunrise Soya Foods. SoyaWorld is marketing So Good in Canada under license from Australia's Sanitarium Health Food Company.
