NANBA ANNUAL MEETING

The North American National Broadcasters Association will hold its annual general meeting in Los Angeles from Feb. 8 to 10. Discussion will focus on issues and trends affecting broadcasting in the 21st century. Seminar topics include convergence and digital broadcasting, HDTV and the politics of new technology and the changing canvas of Europe. Keynote speakers will be HDTV guru Kim Campbell, CBS vice-president Joseph Flaherty, Academy of Television Arts and Science president Meryl Marshall, UCLA media analyst Jeffrey Cole and director-producers Lionel Chetwynd and Bruce Moccia.
