ATLANTIS OPENS SALES UNIT

Atlantis Broadcasting of Toronto has set up a sales unit to handle advertising sales for its growing interests in specialty channels. The new division is called Atlantis Multinet Sales Inc., and will handle the promotional and sales aspects of the Life Network, Home & Garden Television Canada, Canel Vie in Ontario and HGTV U.S. in Canada. Heading up the group will be sales vice-president Brade Alles. National account executives are Sindy Stoller, Rod Walker, Dave Clarke and Paul Sward. Jim Johnson has been named promotions manager. Atlantis owns 100% of the Life Network, is the controlling shareholder of HGTV and the exclusive agent for The Food Network, Fit TV and America's Health Network in Canada.
