A&W DECISION IMMINENT

A&W Food Services of Vancouver will make a decision on which agency it will use at the end of the week, marketing manager Monica Jaeschke told Adnews yesterday. Two Toronto agencies are vying for the account: Young & Rubicam and Communique. Originally, A&W talked to 15 agencies in Toronto, Vancouver and Seattle. The incumbent on the account is BBDO Canada's Vancouver office. A&W spent $1.7 million on advertising last year.
