COMPANIES HONORED FOR QUALITY AND INNOVATION

The National Quality Institute has presented its 1997 Canada Awards for Excellence for quality, innovation and entrepreneurship. Awards in the quality division were given to: Brock Telecom, BC Tel Education, Dominion Directory Information Services, Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital and Glen Park Public School. The entrepreneurship award was won by The Career Academy founder Lorraine Lush. Awards for innovation were handed to Quartz Imaging Corp., Research in Motion Ltd., E.QU.I.P International Inc. and Sierra Wireless.
