WTN PRESIDENT QUITS

Women's Television Network president Linda Rankin resigned from her job last week because of "fundamental differences" with the company. Randy Moffat, president of the network's majority owner, Winnipeg-based Moffat Communications, will take on the role until a replacement is found. WTN has the lowest ratings of the seven new cable-TV channels launched in January, with audiences falling 70% below initial targets.
