By Adnews Staff
The Insitute of Canadian Advertising is encouraging U.S. businesses to hire Canadian ad agencies. The organization launched a program earlier this month in conjuction with 31 Canadian agencies and the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade. The program uses a 124 page Canadian Indsutry Information booklet entitled Push the Boundaries. It identifies the benefits of using a Canadian agency, such as creativity, value and the Canadian team approach. The booklet also profiles the 31 participating agencies and provides outines of their abilities and strengths. The last section allows the reader to identify each agency by size, client and key personnel. The booklet is complemented by a video reel which features the best creative of participating agencies. The program is being supported with direct mail ads, a Web site, direct mail and PR done by the ICA and participating agencies.
