SCOTIABANK TO OPEN FOURTH INDIA BRANCH

Toronto-based Scotiabank will open its fourth branch in India early next year. The branch will be located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India and will offer services such as corporate banking, commercial banking, working capital lines of credit, term financing and trade financing. There will also be a small private-banking operation. Bangalore is India's centre for aerospace and high-technology industries.
