COMPANY MARKETING TV SCREEN LIKE OUTDOOR TECHNOLOGY

Expo Media Inc. of New York is marketing a new video screen technology for outdoor advertising that the company says makes the ad look like its on a TV screen. Called PowerVision, the screen ranges in size from 100 to 1,000 square feet. The screen uses a large format light emitting diode technology and utilizes a Windows NT-based system that is compatible with input devices such as video cameras, VCRs, or DVD. It is can also be used on MacIntosh, SGI, Solaris and UNIX operating systems. Using the technology, ads can be seen at any angle when looking at the board.
