SICK KIDS' HOSPITAL LAUNCHES FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN

Toronto's Hospital for Sick Children kicked off a fundraising campaign this week in hopes of raising $82 million for various research endeavors. Money raised from the campaign will be used to fund such things as state-of-the-art research equipment that will support broad areas of research, create additional research space and establish an endowment fund to ensure training opportunities for scientists of the future. The campaign is being supported with newspaper, TV, transit and outdoor campaign created by Ranscombe & Co. of Toronto. The ads pay tribute to past and present research milestones, and the need to find new sources of research funding.
