HUNT-WESSON NEAR DECISION

Three unnamed agencies are vying for the Hunt-Wesson Canada account. A decision is expected in about three weeks, vice-president and general manager Bob Millar told Adnews this week. The business was with D'Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles of Toronto, until the agency resigned late last year. At the time DMB&B wouldn't comment on why it quit, but Hunt-Wesson president Taketo Murata said the agency had done some restructuring, and got rid of some people that worked on the account, then resigned the business. Hunt-Wesson brands include Healthy Choice, Orville Redenbacher popcorn and Hunt's sauces and tomato products.
