CANON TO OFFER WIRELESS PRINTING
By Adnews Staff
U.S.-based Canon Inc. will introduce a portable printer later this month that offers wireless printing and also acts as a color scanner. Called the BJC-80, the product was designed for telecommuters. It has a built in infra red technology that enables users to use the printer without hooking it up to a computer using wires. It also features an Image Optimizer which smooths the jaggedness of low resolution images to provide better print outs. The BJC-80 will be available in North America. In Canada, Canon will promote its three new printers, the 4300, 250 and BJC-80, in a print campaign beginning in the fall. The ads will be created by Lackey Communications of Toronto.
