CLOTHING MAKER TO LAUNCH BRANDING ADS

Kening Apparel of Toronto plans to increase the consumer base in Canada of its Quick Reflex casual clothes and to expand its retail base in the U.S. The clothing manufacturer will launch a campaign this fall promoting the line of clothes to male and female consumers aged 25 to 39. The ads will focus on the lifestyle choices and preferences of the wearer, using point-of-purchase materials and national print ads, as well as trade ads in the U.S. The campaign will be created by Ellis Teichman Communications of Toronto. The agency won the business earlier this year without a review. ETC approached Kening based on its experience in the clothing industry. Previously, advertising for Kening was done in-house.
