FOURNIER TO LOOK FOR AGENCY
By Adnews Staff
Fournier Pharma of Montreal has formed a new division to develop and promote cardiovascular health products and transdermal (patch) systems, and will likely hire an agency to promote its first product being launch next spring, public relations and continuing education manager Lyne Champoux told Adnews yesterday. The new division is called Thylmer and the first drug it will develop is called Oesclim, a hormone replacement therapy patch for post-menopausal women. Currently, Fournier works with two agencies, Academie - Ogilvy Communications of Montreal and Remtulla & Associates of Toronto. Fournier is the Canadian subsidiary of Groupe Fournier of France.
